Guest Speaker: Mr. Mark Casey, Director – Test Program Integration Directorate

In April of 2024, the Redstone Test Center (RTC) hosted a group of engineers from Robins AFB, GA. In the initial meeting, it became clear that many of the test capabilities and engineering services that RTC has could benefit the Robins mission. For RTC’s visit to Robins AFB and brief to Robins AFB NDIA group, RTC hopes to establish a relationship that will facilitate RTC supporting and collaborating with Robins AFB in the future. RTC’s test and engineering services coupled with the proximity to Robins AFB could be of substantial benefit to both organizations. Additionally, RTC and Robins AFB are engaged in some similar activities where collaboration on new/evolving technologies (Cyber, Additive Manufacturing…) could benefit both organizations.
Mark Casey Biography
Mr. Casey was born in Slocomb, Alabama and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1985 from Auburn University. He is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and has been involved in testing in various capacities his entire career. During his career, he has served as an airborne instrumentation engineer, flight test engineer, Assistant Division Chief for both a Flight Test Division and the airborne instrumentation Division at Redstone Test Center (RTC). His experience spanning over 35 years has touched various capacities associated with testing of Army Aviation, sensors, and missiles. Currently, Mr. Casey is the Director for RTC’s Test Program Integration Directorate (TPID). His Directorate is responsible for programmatic oversight for all test programs assigned to the RTC. The RTC test portfolio includes over 800 active projects dealing with life cycle testing for Aviation, Missile and Sensors commodities for the entire Army.
